Oldie but goodie

I've seen several Dr. Who cards around the internet lately so thought I would post an older version of a card that I made for Amber's birthday several years ago. Wish I took better photos.

It's a new year...another resolution to participate in some challenges.  So am starting with week with Bugaboo and their birthday challenge.  Had to make this one real fast to get it in today.  I had this image and not yet used it, so a quick card.  Hard to see but the I used accents on water bubbles and stickles on the candles.  http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/2013/01/week-long-bugaboo-birthday-bash.html

Christmas Card

Well I'm just about to wrap up making my Christmas Cards.  You know a lot of "carders" use one design and send it to everyone.  Somehow I can't do that and have to make each one seperate.  So I will just post one here--I think it was one of my favorites and about the easiest.  The sentiment  was at http://desertdiva-hannelie.blogspot.com  The square was cut with my Cricut using the Elegant Edges cartridge. You can see in the smaller photo how the card actually opens. Merry Christmas

to Cricut or not?

Black Friday is upon us and I went and ordered another Cricut cartridge.  I am undecided as to whether to try and sell my Cricut and cartridges.  It is so hard when you do not have a dedicated space to set it up.  But I went ahead and ordered the elegant edges cartridge for $25 as I am trying to do more cards with digi stamps and it seemed like a good fit for that.  We'll see.

November flew by

November has definately just flew by.  Thanksgiving is Thursday and I am not ready in the least.  But I did manage to make a card for Doug and here it is.  Donnie and Amber won't be getting a card...but they are at Doug's so they can look at his! We'll be cooking a turkey for 12 and eating at the Clubhouse with new friends instead of family.  Looking forward to a good day.

Halloween

Well now that we finally made it south for the winter, I can perhaps make some headway on cards and scrappin.  Here are a couple of cards I made for Halloween.

This one I made using a digi i got from copicmarkersscrapbooking.  This website appears to now be gone, hope that I haven't received a stolen image.

Owl on Pumpkins was made using a free digi from http://designed2delight.com from their Sept. challenge.  Colored with pencils and added a little halloween paper and stickers.
